{"id":432,"date":"2025-03-26T01:04:39","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T01:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebornstead.com\/home\/?p=432"},"modified":"2025-03-26T01:04:39","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T01:04:39","slug":"peace-shalom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebornstead.com\/home\/2025\/03\/26\/peace-shalom\/","title":{"rendered":"Peace \u2013 Shalom"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A complex concept is knowing that peace comes from knowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Knowing our deep dependence on the One who saves.<br>Knowing who we are.<br>Knowing who He is.<br>Knowing how we are aligned to Him\u2014and to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Most High has been working in me lately. He\u2019s stirred up a desire for <em>knowing<\/em>. Not the head kind of knowing. But the kind where you trust He\u2019ll direct you in all circumstances\u2014if you just listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A great example of that is this writing. I am not a writer. Communication has never been my strong suit. Yet the Lord said, <em>write<\/em>. So here I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I have peace about it. Because I know He is the one directing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wish I had a nice 3-step plan for how to find peace. But I only have two steps. Good news, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Seek wisdom.<\/strong><br><strong>Step 2: Do it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s it. The only real knowing comes through action. When you take that step, things begin to fall into place. You don\u2019t just understand\u2014you <em>feel<\/em> it. Deeply. You walk in relationship, not just sit by and waste away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were made to be one. To be in relationship with the Father.<br>It\u2019s really that simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seek. Do.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cYou will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.\u201d<\/strong><br>\u2014 <em>Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A complex concept is knowing that peace comes from knowing.
